Hi! Visitor Central attempts to pull together all the basic information that a visitor or newcomer to Arlington, Texas, or to this website might need to know. Almost everything on this page can also be found on various of the pages listed in the middle column. This is just a more convenient format.
The major difference is that in Visitor Central, I have included lots of new material about the Arlington Visitor Information Center. This is information that is not available anywhere else (unless you personally pay them a visit).
Thus, Visitor Central presents the following five sections of new and existing information:
- Arlington Texas Attractions.com Site Map
- Articles & Reviews Index
- Arlington Visitor Information Center
- Visitor Assistance Links
- Important & Official Offices Map & Links
Hope this helps.

Arlington Visitor Information Center
As you can see in this photo, the Visitor Information Center (VIC) is located on Randol Mill Rd. immediately east of the Texas Rangers Ballpark. It sits at the northeast corner of Randol Mill Rd. and Ballpark Way. It is marker #4 on the map provided below in the Important & Official Offices section.
The Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau and the VIC occupy the same building. The ground floor is dedicated to the VIC and its walk-in visitors. Parking is located behind, or north, of the building.
Inside you will find a warm and friendly group of volunteers who will work hard to answer all of your questions. Plus, there is lots of cool and informative stuff to look at, purchase, or get for free.
Here is a sampling of some of the free stuff:
This Fun Central City Guide booklet is a must have. It contains lots of area information, maps, and coupons.
Then there are two free street maps, with more coupons.
There are also all of the usual area attractions' brochures, and a variety of other coupons. Except that they are all very well organized.
And, plenty of smiles.

Important & Official Offices Map & Link List
Hi! Here is a map and link list of most of the important and official offices in Arlington.
If you are planning a visit to the Arlington Chamber of Commerce, be sure to pick up a copy of their Membership Directory & Community Profile. That's one in the photo. The Chamber has been at the center of Arlington's economic development efforts for decades. They have provided key leadership for some of Arlington's most crucial accomplishments - keeping the Texas Rangers, keeping General Motors, and bringing the Dallas Cowboys to Arlington. They are great folks to know and to do business with!
