1) Tour of Historic Arlington
This phamplet is available from the Arlington Historical Society.
2) Site of Bird's Fort
Bird's Fort, located in a low area next to the Trinity River, was essentially the beginnings of Tarrant County. It is designated by marker #2 on the map below.
3) Arlington Mineral Well
The basin for the mineral well is still around, and in the custody of the Arlington Historical Society. The site of the of the well, long since paved over, is designated by marker #10 on the map.
